It is an unexpected product of the fermentation process of ripe Pu'er tea, not something artificially created. During the long fermentation process, the tea leaves naturally stick together due to their rich pectin content, forming these precious nuggets.

Unlike tea paste, Lao Cha Tou reveals the original tea leaves when brewed, allowing you to see the quality and craftsmanship firsthand. Just one or two pieces are enough to brew a large cup, and it is highly durable for multiple infusions. The taste is rich, smooth, and naturally sweet, with the signature soft and mellow texture of ripe Pu'er, developing deeper flavors with each steeping.
