Craft & Design
This piece is made using the classic Blue-and-White with Underglaze Red technique from Jingdezhen: cobalt blue is painted under the glaze for the blue design, while copper red is fired into the porcelain body at high temperature, producing vivid contrasts in a single firing. The cup is decorated with red lotus flowers and intertwining blue vines — symbolizing purity, elegance, and vitality.
