Handcrafted | Original Ore Clay | Classic Rongtian Form | Ideal for Solo Gongfu Tea Sessions
A teapot that holds not just tea, but the breadth of heaven and earth—this is the spirit of the Rongtian form. Clean, rounded, and quietly powerful, the Rongtian teapot embodies a timeless elegance. This piece is handcrafted using rare white Qiao Duan clay, a refined variety of Duan clay known for its warm ivory tone and subtle mineral texture.
With a capacity of 80cc, it is designed for those serene, introspective tea moments—just you, your thoughts, and a perfect brew. The rounded body, slightly domed lid, and robust knob form a harmonious silhouette, while the spout and handle are balanced for smooth and controlled pouring.
What is the Rongtian Teapot?
"Rongtian" means "to contain the heavens." True to its name, this form exudes gravity and grace, with a silhouette that suggests balance and depth. Traditionally favored by serious tea practitioners, it is especially well-suited for oolong, aged pu’er, or rock teas—brewed in small quantities, savored in full presence.
About the Clay: White Qiao Duan
White Qiao Duan is a natural ore clay with excellent breathability and thermal stability. Its pale, almost porcelain-like appearance gives it an understated elegance, while its texture brings out the essence of the tea without overwhelming it. High-temperature fired and difficult to produce, each teapot is a unique expression of both craft and clay.
