Pasha Xiniutang · Menghai’s “Fragrant Concubine”

Pasha is located in Menghai, Yunnan, and is traditionally regarded as one of the areas closely connected with the origins of the Lao Banzhang tea region.

Pasha is also known as “Menghai’s Fragrant Concubine”, a nickname that reflects its particularly expressive aroma.

And that aroma is exactly what makes this tea memorable.

The fragrance rises quickly from the first infusion, with a high, lifted character that remains present throughout the session.

A Pasha Character That Resembles Lao Banzhang

The first sip brings a clear bitterness and astringency, giving the tea a powerful structure that can remind you of Lao Banzhang.

But there is an important difference:

the bitterness opens quickly and fades quickly.

As the initial bitterness and astringency slide away, the tea becomes smoother, while the high aroma comes forward.
