A perfect sphere, nested within another —
This is not just a teapot, but a study in balance, proportion, and quiet strength.

What is a "Duo Qiu" Teapot?

Duo Qiu (掇球)” translates roughly as “Stacked Spheres.”
It is one of the classic Yixing teapot shapes, celebrated for its precision and symmetry.

  • The body, lid, and knob are each composed of near-perfect spherical forms,
meticulously joined to create a sense of elegant tension and visual harmony.

  • At first glance, it appears simple. But the beauty of the Duo Qiu lies in its geometry —
a challenge only skilled artisans can master.

It represents power in stillness, and grace through restraint
a true symbol of classical literati taste.

Highlights:

  • Original ore purple clay (Zisha): Rich in iron, naturally textured with dark mineral speckles. These “iron dots” are signs of authentic, unrefined ore clay.

  • Purely handcrafted: Shaped entirely by hand, not machine-pressed. Each curve carries the warmth of the maker’s fingertips.

  • Compact 50cc size: Perfect for solo tea sessions . Holds heat well, ideal for Gongfu-style brewing.

  • Precise form, stable pouring: Balanced center of gravity, efficient spout design, clean pour and quick cutoff.

🌓 A Teapot That Honors Form and Function

The Duo Qiu is not just a pot — it's a philosophy.
From its quiet silhouette flows a sense of order and meditation.
It invites slowness. Stillness. Focus.

“Three spheres in silent alignment — holding tea, heat, and harmony.”
A pot for those who find beauty in form, and soul in simplicity.
