Hand-Painted Poem (Chinese + English)
煎茶日日起松风,醒觉人间路路通。
要识此真真妙者,出山先入我杯中。
English Translation:
Each day, tea boils with the sound of pine wind,
awakening the mind — all paths become clear.
If you wish to understand this true subtlety,
step into the world through this very cup.
Origin of the Poem
The first two lines originate from 卖茶翁, a Japanese tea master and founder of the Sencha tradition.
Original line:
“Tea boils daily with the sound of pine wind,
awakening the path to transcendence.”
The third and fourth lines are modern original extensions, completing the philosophical idea:
Enlightenment is not outside — it begins in the cup.

Meaning & Experience
- “Pine wind” → the sound of water reaching the perfect boiling point
- “All paths open” → clarity through awareness
- “Enter through the cup” → direct experience, not theory

Use & Feeling
This taller form enhances aroma concentration and vertical heat flow, making it ideal for focused tea tasting.
