Our tea is different from the cheap mass produced tea on the market. We select ancient tree tea, each leaf from the original forest, hand-picked and carefully crafted. Each tea tree has a long age, growing away from pollution in the environment, drawing the purest energy of nature. We insist on non-mass production, and each batch of tea is strictly screened and finely processed to ensure that each sip of tea will bring you the richest aroma and taste. Our tea is not only a drink, but also a journey about time and nature. Taste a bite, you can feel the tea tree hundreds of years of precipitation and the gift of nature.

Why choose our tea?

• Pure natural: Tea trees grow in the original forest away from pollution, without any chemical intervention, completely retain the natural flavor.

• Hand picking: Each leaf is hand-picked by experienced tea farmers to ensure the freshness and quality of the tea.

• Old tree tea: From the old tea tree for decades or even hundreds of years, the tea taste is more mellow and rich.

• Non-mass production: The production of each batch of tea is refined in small batches to maintain the high quality of tea.

Naka · Mengsong Ancient Tea Garden

High Mountain Ancient Tree Pu’er Tea

Tea friends, today we’re sharing a high-altitude Pu’er tea from the Mengsong ancient tea region — Naka.

Among Pu’er tea drinkers, Naka is often called the “Fragrant Little Princess”, and many people also refer to it as “Little Lao Banzhang.”

Compared to the steady and powerful character of Lao Banzhang,
Naka carries a lighter, more agile personality — more floral, more lively, and full of energy.

As one of the representative ancient tea gardens of Mengsong, Naka has several very unique characteristics that make it different from most Pu’er tea regions.

(The Home of Naka)

1. A Rare Mix of Small-Leaf and Large-Leaf Tea Trees

One special thing about Naka is that the proportion of small-leaf tea trees in the garden is relatively high.

Most famous Yunnan Pu’er regions are dominated by large-leaf varieties, but Naka naturally grows both.

Small-leaf tea trees bring:

• Higher aroma
• More delicate texture
• Strong sweetness

Large-leaf tea trees bring:

• Thickness
• Full body
• Depth and structure

The combination of these two creates a flavor profile that is very difficult to replicate.

2. “Tea Growing on Stones”

The ancient tea garden contains large amounts of rock and stone, which is why many local tea drinkers call it:

“Tea growing on stones.”

The roots of the ancient trees grow through rocky mountain soil, giving the tea a stronger mineral feeling and a more wild mountain character.

This rocky environment is part of what gives Naka its distinct energy and layered taste.

3. Tea Trees Growing Together with Bamboo Forests

Many tea trees in Naka grow naturally alongside bamboo groves.

Because of this environment, Naka tea is also one of the preferred materials for making traditional bamboo tube tea.

The interaction between bamboo forests, mountain mist, and ancient trees creates a tea aroma that feels especially clean and uplifting.

A Former Imperial Tribute Tea

Historically, Naka was also known as a tea area that supplied tribute tea to local rulers and imperial systems in ancient times.

Even today, because of:

• Low production volume
• Excellent ecological environment
• Rich ancient tree resources

Naka remains highly sought after by serious tea drinkers and collectors.

Flavor Profile

Compared to stronger and heavier Bulang teas, Naka is known for its balance between aroma and structure.

Expect:

• High floral fragrance
• Sweet honey-like finish
• Smooth mountain texture
• Strong returning sweetness
• A lively and elegant character

It is a tea that combines strength with refinement.

High Mountain Ancient Tree Environment

The ancient tea trees of Naka grow deep in the mountain forests of Mengsong, surrounded by mist, bamboo, and natural vegetation.

These old trees are not plantation-grown.

They grow slowly in a natural ecosystem, developing deeper root systems and richer internal material over time.

Why Tea Drinkers Love Naka

Some teas are powerful.
Some teas are elegant.

Naka manages to be both.

It carries the mountain strength of Mengsong,
but with a fragrance and sweetness that make it unforgettable.
