Shui Xian – The Soul of Wuyi Rock Tea
Shui Xian is one of the oldest and most representative tea tree varieties of Wuyi Mountain, with a history of more than a century.
Crafted through deep fermentation and intense roasting, it is famous for its bold fragrance, full body, and profound yan yun — the signature “rock rhyme” of true Wuyi teas.
There is an old saying among tea masters:
“No tea rivals Rou Gui in aroma, yet none surpasses Shui Xian in richness.”
A fine Shui Xian reveals a mellow, rounded liquor and lingering floral fragrance, carrying the charm of lao cong — old tea trees that breathe the rhythm of time.
At Baiyun Teahouse, our Shui Xian comes from high-mountain gardens above 700 meters, where the average temperature is about 12°C and day-night temperature variation is great.
This unique terroir creates a thicker aroma, deeper sweetness, and more vivid rock character in every cup.
Brewing Guide:
For gatherings, use 8g of tea with 100°C purified or spring water.
Pour quickly and serve immediately for the first infusions.
From the fourth brew onward, extend steeping time as you wish —
that’s when the floral notes soften and the rock charm reaches its depth.

All Baiyun Teahouse teas are certified under ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) — ensuring that every step of production is standardized and traceable —
